Q: Match results not populating on Macbook Pro.

Followed all trouble shooting instructions. Cloud with a sideways Z   cloud.jpg is showing next to Music Library.  Icloud status has shown as "Waiting" for over 24hours.  What does this icon mean and any other ideas would be appreciated!

    Hi,

This means that you are not connecting to iTunes match. Try rebooting your router as well as your computer.

Thanks Jim.  I reset the modem, the router and the computer and still have same issue.  I've tried turning off and on match and updating; however, the cloud starts running and then goes immediately back to the sleeping cloud sign without changing any files..

I have had the same issue as yourself but l still choose to use iTunes 10.7 as my music manager of choice.

After speaking to tech support nothing was resolved , it is my hunch that at iTunes match no longer works under itunes 10.

I have been able to fully connect with itunes match  using  iTunes 11 and 12 with both yosemite and mavericks , but l am old school and

despise both iTunes 11 and 12.

Today l tried an experiment ... loaded itunes 12 into a windows 7 machine , not a problem with connections to the itunes match server.

I removed itunes 12 as per apples directions and downgraded to 10.6 and bingo the same story ... after scanning ,the lightening cloud next to

music in the library list, which means not connecting to apples servers

So l think 10 is the culprit.

iTunes 10 does not display my cloud library after a cache clean out or any other recommendations suggested by apple.

All of my i os portables connect fine with match . All of a sudden and over night the last great version of iTunes just decides not to play nice with

apple on two of my macs , both at the same time l may ad and both with supposedly supported versions of iTunes.

Anyone out there with a solution ?

Thanks for the tip to check out the Itunes and OS version.  I upgraded from OS X 10.?? to OS X Snow Leopard and then onto Yosemite. I also upgraded the Itunes to the latest version after I did the Yosemite upgrade.  Itunes Match now shows all songs and cloud symbol is gone.  Thanks for your help!
