Q: FaceTime won't connect

I can't initiate FaceTime with anyone via my Macbook Air, but it seems to be working fine on all my other devices. Whenever I attempt to make a call, it just says FaceTime failed. I've had two people call me since the issue started occurring, and every time I have gone to answer the call on my Macbook, the call failed and I ended up answering the call on a separate device. I recently updated to OS X Yosemite 10.10.2, so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. If anyone can help me out, it would be greatly appreciated!
