I would be sharing with immediate family, but we live in different households.

Is it household or COUNTRY?!?!!

I have episodes I'd love to share with my family on the other side of the state but I don't want to be abusing the system.

Well, you better make sure that he is not abusing the system, because once you invite him to your Family Sharing group, he can make purchases on your credit card.
