Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
I understand that you have edited your Apple ID from a previous email address to a new email address, but you are still seeing prompts for your old email address. I sounds to me like after you edited your Apple ID, you may not have signed out of all of the services that were using it and signed in with your new one. These services include iCloud, Messages, FaceTime, iTunes and App Store and more. To see a complete list of services that use your Apple ID, please use the attached article as a reference.
Where can I use my Apple ID? - Apple Support
Best regards,
Joe

Mar 28, 2015 6:10 AM in response to Jamaica26by Ethan7988,Is it asking you to sign into iCloud? If so, go to Settings>iCloud>sign out and sign back in.
If it is asking you to sign into the App Store or the iTunes store, sign out and sign back in App Store>Featured>Sign out and sign back in.
