Q: How to connect iphone (my wife's) to macbook pro, but use different Apple ID (mine)?

My wife has a new Macbook Pro 13", and on setup, she wants to connect her iPhone 5s. By selecting her iCloud it requires an AppleID, but we have been using only one AppleID to keep track of our purchases. Is there any way to connect her iphone to her new mac, but us my AppleID for purchases?
