Q: Unable to access iCloud on iPhone 5S

Hi everyone! I'm having trouble using iCloud in my iPhone 5S. I don't know why the setting changed but now I need to put my password again because iCloud is kind of offline. When I do, it says "Verification error. There's been a connection problem with iCloud" and won't verify. Hence, I can't sync my data.

 

I must say that the password is correct since I can log into iCloud on my Mac and web. Also, a complete reset + restore is impossible since I have the "Find my iPhone" ON and I need iCloud to disable it. Kind of beats the point...

 

Does anyone have a similar problem + solution?

    I understand that your are receiving an “authentication failed” message when trying to sign into to iCloud on your iPhone. To troubleshoot this situation, please refer to the attached article. 

     

    iCloud: Account troubleshooting - Apple Support

     

     

    I receive an “authentication failed” message when I try to sign in with my Apple ID during iCloud account setup on my iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

    Go to My Apple ID (appleid.apple.com), click “Manage your Apple ID,” and try to sign in with your Apple ID. If you are unable to sign in, follow the steps provided there to reset your Apple ID account password.

    Thanks for your quick response. Although this didn't solve the problem, it triggered another alternative and I was able to solve it (al IP conflict).
