Q: Camera problem!

Hi,

When I try to capture a video in iMovie with the built-in camera. Every time I adjust the screen to get better angle, the camera turn off. I brought my Mac Pro to a local store more than once. They tested and told me something wrong with the hard drive. I recently upgraded a new solid state hard drive, and reinstalled Yosemite hoping it will solve the problem but, the camera still turns off every time I adjust the screen (even a small movement). The same happened when I try to use "ScreenFlow". Does any body know what caused this? Any helps would be greatly appreciate.

Thanks so much guys!

It will make it easier to help you w/ your problem to know the exact model, size, year built, RAM installed and OS you're running.

    Idiotic!

Sounds like a camera cable problem.Usually failed at the hinge point.

From your symptoms, you certainly have some hardware problem(s).

Only a trained Apple Service Technician can authoritatively identify

the cause of your trouble.  The Tech can also fix it if you want to do so.

Unless you have a current backup of your MBP, make one now.

Then use the final "Troubleshooting" suggestion:

"... contact Apple or an Apple-Authorized Service Provider for service."

When the service has been completed, ask for a demonstration that

your camera works properly before you take your Mac home.
