My laptop boots up and I get the message I have a trojan horse virus. What do I do to remove it?
If this message is being displayed in your web browser, it's a scam... follow dominic23's recommendations for making it go away.
If it isn't being displayed in your web browser, are you using any kind of anti-virus software? If so, what anti-virus software is that, and what is the exact name of the trojan being reported?
