Q: How to convert old .cwk docs to pages

I have a lot of old and important docs that I can't access.  Many are in the .cwk format.

Some others have a black icon with 3 white dots top left.

Is there a way for me to access them and convert the contents to pages or copy the content and paste onto a pages doc?

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.2), I'm a novice

Try using LibreOffice. If that doesn't work, you need to find a computer which is running an older version of iWork, or one which has Mac OS X 10.6.8 or earlier(including running Mac OS X Server in emulation) and AppleWorks installed.

All versions of ClarisWorks & AppleWorks share the .cwk extension.

If you have iWork '09 you can open AppleWorks 6 word processing, spreadsheets & presentations in Pages, Numbers & Keynote respectively. You cannot open any other type (draw, paint or database) of AppleWorks 6 documents with any iWork application nor can you open AppleWorks 5 or any version of ClarisWorks documents.

If the files are AppleWorks/ClarisWorks 5 or earlier, do as Niel suggested, & use LibreOffice. It can open many, but not all, types of AppleWorks & ClarisWorks documents.
