I am unable to turn my iphone 5 sideways to text or view my pictures or videos. Also my turn down buttom does not work.

iPhone 5, iOS 7.0.4

Hey, I just had this problem and couldn't figure it out either. I'm using a pretty hefty Lifeproof case and it gets a little "bubble" on the screen protector. I removed the case and my texting works fine now.
