Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
I see where you are getting an error message when trying to send emails from your iCloud account. The following article provides troubleshooting of iCloud Mail.

Apr 3, 2015 7:35 PM in response to jeffd55by tgbszk,Thanks Jeff. Indeed, clearing Safari's cache helps, however doing this every time I want to send an email from icloud.com is somewhat annoying. I wonder if this is the way it was meant to work.

Clearing the cache everytime you want to send email is not the way it should work. I would touch base with your ISP to make sure the settings you have are correct for their system and then, you may find more information by using another one of Apple's support resources - https://getsupport.apple.com/GetproductgroupList.action.
Cheers,
Jeff D.

Apr 10, 2015 1:36 AM in response to jeffd55by tgbszk,Thanks. I moved away from my ISP's DNS a a few days ago and have not seen the "Can not send message" ever since. Not sure if it was the fix but so far so god.

Apr 11, 2015 11:03 AM in response to tgbszkby jeffd55,Hi tgbszk,
Thanks for your reply. Sorry it still isn't working. Certainly you should not have to clear Safari's cache all the time shouldn't be necessary. Did you try the link under "Learn more" in the article I provided? I would suggest that next. If you did and it still isn't working, then you might want to follow the last link in the article, to contact iCloud Support.
Cheers,
Jeff D.
