Q: Failed upgrade on an iPad Mini First Generation Wi-Fi

iPad MIni does not boot up normally, It gets the apple icon and nothing else Also, It does not shut down the usual way. It has to be shut down using the master reboot, home and off buttons simultaneously. It happened when the latest software download was invoqued.

Have you tried a reset to start the iPad up? Hold down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears on the screen. Wait untll you see the logo and then let go of the buttons and let the iPad start up. If that doesn't let the iPad start up as it should and fix things for you, try restoring the software again.
