Q: How to load your own pdf books into your other ios devices from iTunes?

I'm trying to load my own .pdf books into itunes and the ibook app. They are in iTunes now but how do I make them share with my other IOS devices like ipad2 and iPhone 6s?  I have checked sync all books and the new .pdf books don't go anywhere. I check only sync checked items, with all 7 new .pdf books checked, but they still don't go anywhere when I run sync. The guides seem to imply that you can add your own .pdf books and I can see them in iTunes but they won't sync to either my iPhone 6s or my iPad2 even though this is the home iTunes station for both devices (Windows 8.1Pro). Hope someone can help me get this done.

    Hey There Steve,

I understand you have some PDF files you have created on your Windows computer, and you want to get them on your iPad and iPhone.  Take a look at the resource below to see the various ways to share these documents.

One of the easiest ways I've found is to email a pdf file to myself, and then open the attachment in iBooks on my iPhone or iPad.

Use iBooks with PDF documents on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support
    https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202075

    View a PDF email attachment

You can open PDF documents, such as a PDF attached to an email, with iBooks:

    1. Open the email with the PDF attachment, and tap the attachment.
    2. Tap the Share icon   in the upper-right corner.
    3. Tap "Open in iBooks" to open the attachment. iBooks will open, and you can view your PDF.
    4. When you use iBooks to open a PDF, iBooks will automatically save a copy of it to your iBooks PDF shelf. These PDFs will sync to your iTunes Book Library (or iBooks, in OS X Mavericks or later) the next time you sync your device with iTunes.

    Hope that helps ...
