Apr 5, 2015 11:46 AM in response to Kappyby John E. Colyer,Kappy: My iPad and iPhone are both at least6 months old. Not new devices. I simply want to dump documents created in Pages AND Word on my iPad onto the iCloud and then be able to read them on my iPhone BUT, nothing seems to work unless I jump through hoops like connecting the iPad to the PC and then nothing happens. I cannot find anything on the iPhone. I thought the iCloud worked like Dropbox, OneDrive or Google drive in that I could dump files and pictures into the cloud and then look at them on the other device. I am getting impreswsion that is not the case. TRUE???

Apr 5, 2015 11:58 AM in response to John E. Colyerby Kappy,I don't quite think you understand. It doesn't make any difference how old either of them is. It's the process that matters. But you didn't state these were iWork documents. They can be saved directly to your iCloud Drive if you have it activated. Or they can be transferred to your iTunes library directly. They can be put on your @icloud.com account.

New things can be hard for everyone, regardless of age. Take a break. Then, come back and ask more questions about what you don't understand. People will stick with you.
