Q: Wired Mac Keyboard: 'C' key will ONLY function with command key

Hi,

I have a wired mac keyboard attached to a mac book pro. Without any reason the 'c' key will not only work when used with the command key for the function 'copy'.

When working in a document to type the letter c it doesn't register, when trying to type into safari browser, the c key simply makes that single monotone beep each time you hit the key. It simply only works when used to copy something in conjunction with the command key?

Been in system preferences... can't seem to see what is wrong

Any ideas?
