I'm sorry to hear you are having these issues after a recent update. The print preview function is slightly different in Mountain Lion; for more information, you may find the following article helpful:

Apr 8, 2015 3:39 PM in response to brenden dvby popcorn008,Thanks brenden dv for your response!
But when I select Print, what comes up is a "Print" instruction box that does not have a small preview of the document, and this is when I'm in the extended version of the "Print" instructions box. The only way I can get such to appear is to select "Open PDF in Preview", wait for the full size preview to come up (takes much time) and then I just discovered that I can subsequently get the small preview to appear, if after I get the full size preview to open up, I select "Print" again (and the full size preview is still open). Then the small preview appears - - as it should from the very first time I selected "Print."
Why do I have to go through so many steps to get the small preview to appear? How do I fix it so that it appears the first time I select "Print?"
Thank you in advance for any more help you can give!

Apr 9, 2015 4:43 PM in response to brenden dvby popcorn008,Thank you Brenden for the referral to Apple Support. They suggested getting an add-on downloaded from FireFox. So I am going to try that. Cross fingers . . .
Thanks again!
