Q: Charger makes Mac completely reset when I touch it
I'm working on a fairly old Macbook, about 5 years, but still in great condition. The other week I bought a new charger because the other one broke. It worked fine for the first two weeks, but now it is messing around on me. There are times, like right now, when it is plugged in but just is not charging. Then I have to fiddle around with the cord, and maybe it will begin to charge. But, some times when I fiddle with the cord to make it work, it completely shuts my mac off, as if you held down the power button. When I turn it back on, everything is completely reset, clock and all.
Any ideas what is happening?
