Q: why is the music on my ipod showing up on my ipod when it is connected to the computer but when i look at my ipod the music is not there?
I connected my Ipod to my computer and it will show up if I press on my ipod icon in the music. But if I look at the screen on my ipod it shows that there is no music there. What is going on. Every time I connect it to my computer I have to reset my ipod and redownload all of the music because it wont let me take off the music because it says that it is no there. But when I download all of my music again it will show that I have double of everything but only when I look on my ipod icon on the computer in my music.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsync/delete all music and resync
To delete all music go to Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Manage Storage>Music>Tap edit in upper right and then tap the minus sign by All Music
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
