Q: My iPhone 4S has a broken screen and it will not let me back up my files because I had a lock on the screen that I cannot unlock, how can I back up my files from my iPhone to my computer?

When was the last time you backed up the phone? If you cannot unlock it, you cannot back it up in iTunes. I suggest looking in Google for a 3rd party solution.

Since there has been no further activity in this thread for almost 2 years, they either resolved their issue or gave up. With a broken phone, it is virtually impossible to get into it. Do you have a question about your phone?

My phone still turns on but the screen shows no activity, its really smashed into over 100 pieces so is the back however i am unable to acces the pictures, thats all i want from the phone. if you have a resolution to this that would be great.

IF your computer photo program does not recognize your phone, you won't be able to transfer the pictures. And from your description of the damage, I doubt that you will be able to do anything. Time for a new phone and move on.
