Q: Have a 3tb Time capsule, and would like to add airport express - question how many?

Hi all

I have a 3TB time capsule, and having wireless issue around the house; so i would like to add about 4 airport express - so to extend my coverage.

Apple says that they will support up to 2 - but i have read in some forums you can have up to 99...

My question - has anyone ever connected 4 airport expresses to a time capsule? Have you had any issues? Does it work?

Where does Apple make that statement? As I recall an AEBS can accommodate 255 AEX in theory.

Happy thanks... i read this in a forum about two..

Another question can you connect an airpot extreme as an extender to the time capsule? only reason is that it has 802.11ac instead of 802.11n in the express?

Yes, it can extend the network, but unless the AEX supports ac, too, you cannot get anything better than n.
