Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
It sounds like your email is not downloading on your Mac, but it downloads on your iOS devices. Checking Mail Connection Doctor was a good troubleshooting step.
Although Connection Doctor doesn't identify an issue, do you receive any other alerts that can help isolate this situation? For example, do you receive a message that your email account is offline?
Additionally, you may want to verify your email account settings by first choosing Preferences from the Mail menu, clicking Accounts, then selecting your email account.
You can verify the settings are correct in a few ways:
OS X automatically uses the correct account settings for many email providers. You can use Mail Settings Lookup to view those settings, or get the settings directly from your email provider. Then compare them to the settings you see in Mail preferences.
