Q: I am getting a unresdable warning to 8.000   pics that I had in iPHOTO. Seems to me that I have lost all of them. I cannot import anymore my old pics. Help me!

I am having trouble to import my old pics (8.000+) from iPhoto. It keeps showing the unreadable message and them close all. Help me.... 

MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2012), OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)

    How are you trying to import the iPhoto library?

     

    To migrate an iPhoto Library to Photos, quit Photos, then drag the iPhoto Library onto the Photos icon in the Dock. Is this causing the "unreadable" message?

    I am trying to import the old pics using the IMPORT command in menu. Today I plugged my iPhone 4 to the NBook and the message appears again. I couldn't import any photos from my iPhone. What a mess they have done to this new Photos?
