Q: how do i sync a slideshow between two macs?

I created a slideshow in the new photos app on my iMac and now I would like to edit and use it on my macbook. But it does not show in "Projects" on the macbook. icloud option are switched on. If it does nor work automatically, is there a manual way? The syncing of photos and folders works fine.

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.3)

You cannot sync a slideshow to another mac. Only an album with the photos you selected for the slideshow can be transferred.

So create first an album with the photos you want in the slideshow, then the slideshow from the photos in the album.

    See this Help text:

Use Photos and iCloud Photo Library on multiple Mac computers - Apple Support

These items are available only on the Mac where you created them:

    • Books, cards, and calendars
    • Slideshows
    • Keyword shortcuts
    • Unused keywords
    • Last imported album (this album contains photos you most recently imported on a specific Mac)
    • Faces tiles and Faces data

Your photos or videos must be stored inside the Photos library to be accessible through iCloud Photo Library.

Thanks, this makes it clear! Too bad though, that would be a nice feature.

Strange I did not find this infopage myself, I expected more from google:)
