Apr 15, 2015 8:11 AM in response to stuartt5by Phil0124,You should have no issue restoring a backup made on iOS 8.2 to an iPhone running iOS 8.3
Do you get any error messages whey try to do this?

Apr 15, 2015 8:40 AM in response to Phil0124by stuartt5,they were just not highlighted (grey as opposed to black which were the ones I could use) and I wasnt able to click on them to restore - it did say something about unable to restore due to being from an older IOS (or maybe device I cant 100% remember and it was an iphone 5).
I could restore from an earlier IOS from a hard back up on my computer - just not from icloud

May 28, 2015 2:55 AM in response to stuartt5by Stakkabo,I have the same issue but I think that my old phone has IOS 8.3 but my new phone is an older version but I can't update it because it is just starting up

May 29, 2015 10:51 AM in response to Stakkaboby Phil0124,Set the new phone up as new, and update to iOS 8.3 when you are done.
After that you can restore the new iPhone, and it will keep the new iOS version, and you should be able to restore from a backup.
