Q: When will Apple Pay be available in Germany/Europe?

Hi all,

any news when Apple Pay will finally be available in Germany? For me Apple Pay was definitely a strong argument for going away from my "old" iPhone 5 and buying a new iPhone 6 right from the start in September last year. Now, 7 month later, nothing happened. I still can't use Apple Pay here in Germany. Why that? is it so difficult to convince banks here in Germany to support Apple Pay? Is Apple just too greedy and can't find banks willing to pay the fees dictated by Apple? My hope was that things might change once the Apple Watch is available ... but still no news about Apple Pay in Germany ... or Europe in general. After waiting such a long time now I'm quite disappointed.

Well hope there is light in the end of the tunnel... I guess the german banks are actually the problem, since the also wont accept mobile payment AT ALL. The want to make there own I've heared... I guess we have to switch banks since, it works with wireless payment where the have it also in germany the prob is only the bank.
