Q: reinstalling OX Lion from the thumb drive?
I have erased my disk as I could not even start uo, form the control r start up my disk uitility says I must erase and re instal. So I erased but now I can't instal. I get 'temporarily unavailable' from googling I understand that I dont have the rigth firmware to reinstal from the web. So I am asking can I reinstal from the OX lion thumb drive I bought in the first place?? If so how, thank you.
I am in Nairobi so no trips to the applestore suggestions please, thank you

Connect the drive, restart with the Option key held down, click on it, and start the installation.
