Q: Is there an Apple Diagnostic that will check out an Airport Extreme with 2 gig?

My Apple Airport is not backing up automatically. It will back up manually without a hitch. It stopped backing up automatically a few days ago and nothing I know of has changed. I use Time Machine to perform the scheduled backups.

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mavericks (10.9.5)

What model is your apple airport? A1xxx from the base please.

Is the computer running Mavericks as per your profile?

Time Machine has logs you can access.

This might give you some idea of what is wrong.. but I have to say if you run Yosemite.. therein lies your problem.
