Q: Camera won't focus after 8.1.3 update

I updated my iPhone 6 Plus to iOS 8.1.3 today and now the rear camera is permanently focused very close to the phone. I can't change the focus using auto focus, tapping the screen, or manually changing the focal length in Camera+.

I am also facing the same issue after the software upgrade. My front camera was working fine when i see the photos took on Feb16. But recently it stopped focusing. Please let me know if there is solution for it. Its upsetting me a lot.

Update your iPhone to iOS 8.2 first.

Apple, please listen to your customers' cry for help! So many of us with the same issue. We are being turned away at the Apple stores. What do we need to do to have this issue with the camera resolved??

still major issue. Calling to make appointment with store. After last update having additional issues with touchscreen freezing in different apps. Photo view freezing. Hope to get camera focus resolved easily. I miss my good camera features. If I wanted to carry a camera around I wouldn't have upgraded to iPhone. Just kept a little "dump phone". Very frustrated that something as simple as an iOS upgrade can wreck a primary feature if the hardware.

Autofocus on iPhone 6 camera with iOS 8.13 is a total fail.

Went to take a video of my daughter's spring concert only to look at the video and see the focus going in and out repeatedly.

Totally ruined the ability to share that memory.

    Thanks Apple.

OK... I have went through customer service, after 3 calls with them and multiple attempts to reset the phone they determined it to be a hardware issue with the phone itself. The image stabilization went down. Without making too many assumptions here but I went investigated this pretty thoroughly, the image stabilization on the iPhone 6plus seems to be sensitive to vibrations. With that known you can make your own assumptions but I did mount my phone to my car and motorcycle mounts so it would indeed have been subjected to the sort of vibrations evident in observations I have read about. I am sure Apple will work to fix this in future renditions but I wouldn't look for any public acknowledgement. In all fairness to Apple, they resolved the problem and replaced the phone promptly as it was still under warranty. Hopefully this issue will be resolved in their future renditions of the phone as I am growing fond of the bigger phone.

Same problem here!!! Apple needs to work on a new ios update because this is an software issue there is nothing wrong with the phone or the camera itself... It was working fine before the last update so there is not point replacing no part on the cell phone. Please update next firmware with correction on this issue
