Apr 18, 2015 7:26 AM in response to jazcanby jazcan,★HelpfulAfter doing a little searching it appears I am not the only one experiencing this & even doing a full restore doesn't correct the issue. I'm going to put in a report to Apple.
I am wondering how many other folks are seeing this?

Apr 18, 2015 7:37 AM in response to jazcanby Demo,I Would have never thought to look for this on my seldom was used iPad 3rd generation, but sure enough I see the same thing that you are seeing. My iPad Air 2 and my iPhone 5S report the storage normally as they should, but the iPad 3 shows something similar to what you are seeing.
The one thing that struck me is that I have not backed up or synced my iPad 3 with iTunes since I updated to iOS 8.3. I use iCloud as my secondary backup and I have always relied on iTunes first. I am backing up and syncing with iTunes now. Then I will backup with iCloud again and I will report back to see if that corrects the situation.

Apr 18, 2015 7:42 AM in response to Demoby jazcan,I haven't backed up to the Cloud since the update either (only iTunes) . Will try later to see if it fixes the issue.

Apr 18, 2015 7:59 AM in response to jazcanby Demo,I Backed up with iTunes, synced with iTunes, backed up again with iCloud, signed out of iCloud, reset the iPad with the sleep and home buttons, and it still didn't do any good. I am still seeing this weird behavior on the iPad 3 - and only on the iPad 3.

Apr 18, 2015 8:24 AM in response to Demoby jazcan,I just completed an iCloud backup & now it's showing even less available. Hoping this won't stop my iPad from automatically backing up to the Cloud :/
I reported the issue here.

Apr 18, 2015 9:27 AM in response to jazcanby Demo,Mine didn't show less space available, but the reading was still incorrect. I have the 20GB plan with 13.6 available which shows up correctly on my phone and on my iPad Air 2. I am seeing this now and this is exactly what I was seeing prior to all of my troubleshooting steps.
NIce catch by the way. I will report the issue as well.

Apr 18, 2015 11:04 AM in response to Demoby bobseufert,Will do. Another bug that showd up yesterday, if you go to YouTube.com using Safari it will open the app instead of the website. I haven't checked if it's still doing it today.

Apr 18, 2015 11:16 AM in response to Demoby bobseufert,That was simple enough. I'm surprized you can't add screenshots to the feedback report.

Apr 18, 2015 11:44 AM in response to Demoby jazcan,So now I'm seeing some more weird behaviour. Total storage is still showing 0 bytes but available keeps changing. It was showing correctly at 4 GB and now shows 3.9 GB. I haven't done any further backups but it appears to be changing on its own.

I'm no expert on this, but I think that feedback is different than filing an actual bug report. I would assume that you can include screenshots in a bug report which I believe is only for registered developers to use. I can't imagine how many users would be bombarding Apple with bug reports every time that their device didn't do exactly he what they thought that it should do. Feedback is for us, the non developer types. I'm sure feedback gets more than its share of abuse as it is.

Apr 18, 2015 11:58 AM in response to jazcanby Demo,My reading hasn't changed from what I reported earlier. It still isn't correct.

Apr 18, 2015 12:43 PM in response to Demoby bobseufert,I just like attaching screenshots. I noticed even though it's not a developer bug report there is a place where you can chose type of report> bug. jazcan's question then your and my replys are a good example of why I think Apple should have an Forum for beta testers. When one person reports a problem people using different iPads can check if they're having the same problem. It would let the beta developers quickly know how widespread the problem is. I don't expect to see it in this lifetime though.
