Q: thumbnails not as the picture is!

Hi,

I upgrade from iphoto to photo today.

I have a big issue, 30% of the thumbnails in photo does not correspond to the picture behind !

Am I the only one or this happened also to some of you???

Mac mini, OS X Yosemite (10.10.2)

    I'm using MBP retina 13 inch (Early 2013) with OS X Yosemite (10.10.3) and I'm having the same problem now.

     

    At the first time iPhoto library migrated Photos, every thumbnails seemed OK,

     

    however after exporting and deleting several hundreds of pictures, most thumbnails have become wrong.

    In my case, after deleting thumbnail data file from Photos library, it started working well again.

     

    It makes Photos regenerate thumbnails and looks good to me.

     

    Those thumbnail files are located in " [photos library path] / Thumbnails / Segments / "

    Many, many thanks for helping out with this!  I have spent the last couple of days trying to figure it out, including Googling and rebuilding my library, and your suggestion worked a treat.

    HI guys,

     

    thanks for or you answers. From my side I have not took the risk to remove thumbnails, I have re-imported again...

    But of course I lost my event classification... I do not have a lot of pictures, so it's fine for me.
