Apr 19, 2015 6:34 PM in response to irikenby iriken,Yesterday I asked Apple support center with this problem.
Their answer was:
Photo library on Time Capsules are NOT supported.
They suggested I use wired disk to my Macbook Air!!!
Wired disk drive deprives me of the merit I now HAVE with Air
I then asked there is a way to connect Time Capsule with cable just while I use the photo library.
Their answer was:
Not only Wi-Fi disks, but wired NAS are not supported either.
My photo library is now over 350GB and growing. It seems not a good idea to store it in Macbook Air.

If you don't mind paying for the extra iCloud storage and not having a local copy, once you upload your library to iCloud Photo Library, you can choose to keep only Optimized versions on your MacBook Air. That's one of the "magical" things that Photos can do.

My library is big? I see. I was happy when I knew iPhoto can handle raw files, and I put all pictures since last year into this library.
I mind paying for that size of iCloud, and I have to use wired disk drive.
I need to find out Photos magics.
Thank you again
