Q: Airport Extreme Error Message "Unexpected Error Has Occurred" During Setup

- Whenever I try and connect to my Airport Extreme on my phone it finds it, connects, then goes to connect to my internet and gives me an error message "Unexpected Error Has Occurred" also the box consistently blinks amber, help!

I understand that you are experiencing an error when setting up your AirPort Extreme. Here is a troubleshooting article that I would recommend going through for this error.

AirPort base station not seen or "An unexpected error occurred" appears in AirPort Utility 6.3

Jason,

TinaKier mentions that she is trying to use an iPhone to configure the AirPort Extreme......and your advice mentions AirPort Utility 6.3 for a Mac.

So, the support document that you link above is not going to provide much help. Could you please provide more information relative to setup using an iPhone?
