Q: I followed the instructions but there is progress bar. How do I migrate my photos?

I have an iPhone 6. I synced my iMac. I opened iPhoto on my phone and I got the message to Migrate. I tapped Migrate but I didn't get a progress bar. Is there a way to do this manually? Can I prompt it another way?

iPhone 6, iOS 8.3

You may not see a progress bar, if there are only a few photos to migrate.

If you launch the Photos.app, are your photos there?   Then there is nothing left to do.

Thank you. No, when I synced the device, more than 20,000 photos copied from my iMac to my iPhone.

When I launch photos, the photos aren't there. I can't view any of the older photos.

When I'm in iTunes and I see the Usage bar at the bottom, I can see that +90 GB of photos are on the device but I can't view any of them.

    Any suggestions?
