Apr 21, 2015 1:07 PM in response to Jimzgoldfinchby ajwp04,No, there were no songs on the MacBook Pro, they were all on the iPad from my old computer. I hoped that by opening iTunes match all songs on the iPad would be available to the Mac Pro and my iPhone. They are not they have just disappeared!

As detailed at Subscribe to iTunes Match - Apple Support : "When you subscribe to iTunes Match from an iOS device, your local tracks (tracks that live on your device) will not be matched or uploaded to iCloud. Sign in with your Apple ID on a computer to match and upload your local music library."
