Q: Calendar entries on iPhone doubled up

Apple shop recently upgraded my late 27" 2009 iMac from 10.6.xxx to 10.7 a few weeks ago, all works fine but when we sync the iphone to the iMac, a large number of entries (appointments, birthdays etc) in the phone calendar suddenly are double entries yet OK on the computer. Any ideas how to fix that?

Refer to this article - it explains how the entries couple be duplicated.

If you see duplicate contacts after setting up iCloud Contacts - Apple Support

If that doesn't work, try unchecking everything that is being duplicated, reboot your iPhone, check the boxes to sync again and sync.
