(Just so you know, none of us will know the whys and wherefore of Apple's actions, and even if we did, Apple has non-disclosure requirements covering pretty much everything, including, I suspect, what will be served for lunch in their cafeterias [and we don't even know if they have those because nobody is allowed to tell us ].)

Apr 22, 2015 8:53 AM in response to JimNby Rysz,iTunes now has its own decoders built in, but does not support as many formats as QuickTime Player.
DRag the video to your desktop, then open it in QT and export it in a format that is supported by iTunes, such as .m4p
