Q: 3 questions regarding battery life improvment.

1. Does "Reduce White" option in setting reduce back light (and improve battery life) or just make the screen somehow dimmer (and no effect on battery)?

2. if for example device is charging with USB 2 and is used at the same time. the battery percentage is constant for example 62% because energy usage and consumption is equal. in such situation is battery in use or just idle? in other words does it reduce the battery life or not. In furthermore other words does it count as battery "recharge cycle" or not?

3. is there any 250 mA charger for charging iphone over night. I always charge it between 30 and 70 and normal chargers are too fast for over night.

    1. This option simply makes the colours dimmer in order not to affect user's eyes.

    2. If you put heavy load on your smartphone when charging it, it will take more time to get it charged. Here's what Apple writes about recharge cycles: "A charge cycle means using all of the battery’s power, but that doesn’t necessarily mean a single charge. For instance, you could use your notebook for an hour or more one day, using half its charge, and then recharge it fully. If you did the same thing the next day, it would count as one charge cycle, not two, so it may take several days to complete a cycle." The article is about Mac computers, however, inside of iPhone/iPad you will find similar Li-Ion batteries.

    3. iPhone battery has a built-in controller, which prevents the battery from the so-called "overcharging", so it is safe to live it charging overnight.
