Q: iPhone 5 8Gb ? Is it true ?

As of now, this is not being sold by apple

I'd say away from those phones.  I've heard that those phones aren't unlockable.

This is not true. Apple only produced iPhone 5 16, 32, and 64 GB.

That's a 5C, not 5.

It's still an 8gb iPhone 5 which clearly what the person was selling.

An iPhone 5 and a 5C are not the same phone. Try putting a case for an iPhone 5C on an iPhone 5.

Yes but the point is you can still get a version of the iPhone 5, the 5C, which has 8gb and that is clearly what the person was selling if it only had 8gb.

Regardless..this discussion was created over 3 years ago, so I doubt the person who started this thread really cares anymore and has surely moved on by now.  Not sure why you decided to reopen a thread that old.
