Q: iMac 5K (OSX 10.10.3) Kernel Panic when Previewing or Opening a high resolution Image using Preview app
Summary of issue: I bought the iMac 5K Base configuration a week ago. Used it thoroughly and found absolutely no issue. But it was feeling very slow after update so I did a clean install which downloaded the installation files and process went smoothly. I downloaded some very high resolution images, which loaded fine in Safari and downloaded correctly.
Now the issue is when I spring load these high resolution photos or open them using Preview app (It was working fine before reinstall), the system kernel panics with an error log pasted below. Up to a certain resolution, it works fine. But as soon as I open an image of high resolution (e.g 50-70 MP), system stops responding and does a reboot with an error report. One image did open but the preview app showed a black screen, only appearing image when scaling the window and it refreshes.
The Images open fine in Safari and zooming around works fine. I tried making a new user account which reproduced same problem.
Also in Console, an error -60005 creating authorisation appears repeatedly at the same time around the kernel panic.
Do I need to reinstall the OS, I don't mind doing so as I have copied back my backup yet.
PS: I didn't touch the Storage Logical Volume Group, but did erase the Startup disk (Logical Partition). It's Fusion Drive.
iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3), null

Latest iMac Graphics update solved the problem. No more crashes, and computer is stable again.
