Apr 24, 2015 8:47 AM in response to lobsterman46by Phil0124,You can't give it away with an OS tied to your Apple Id still on it. It is illegal to do so. Since Yosemite requires your Apple ID to download and instal, the new owner would forever require your Apple ID to update it in the future.
You need to restore the computer, to whatever Os it had when it originally shipped and leave it at the setup screen for the new owner to setup.
