Apr 24, 2015 8:04 AM in response to Phil Suarezby WeeRed,Glad I'm not alone. But funny enough I just got my first notification via email to say you replied to my message.
Might be just a syncing delay.

Apr 24, 2015 9:13 AM in response to WeeRedby w0rd3r,Ok, I have the same problem, but if I toggle iMessage ON/OFF on the iPhone, Apple Watch asks for a password, so something is happening here.
But I can't find where I have to type the password though

Apr 24, 2015 11:22 AM in response to WeeRedby KVB71,I'm not getting them either. Since I'm at work now I'll just watch all the videos tonight and try to figure out what is going on when I come home. Unless someone else figures it out first and posts it here. :-)

Apr 24, 2015 11:32 AM in response to KVB71by john991,★HelpfulI remember reading another thread somewhere, if your using your iPhone or iPad you won't get notifications on your apple watch. Apparently this is to conserve battery.

Apr 24, 2015 11:38 AM in response to john991by SF_Billy,★HelpfulI think John991 is right - if you are looking at your phone when the email or message comes in, it won't notify you on your watch. If your phone is in your pocket (or off) when the message comes in, your watch should then tap you and you get the notification. KVB71 or others on the list, how are you testing if you get the notifications or not?

Apr 24, 2015 11:39 AM in response to john991by Andy Vinnicombe,Do you think there is a time set since you last looked at your phone. Mine was locked but probably used it 2 mins before?

The Apple Watch User Guide seems to be the best resource available (so far) - try looking at " Choose which notifications you get. " from the UG page > http://help.apple.com/watch/#/apde978ebff5

Apr 24, 2015 11:57 AM in response to Andy Vinnicombeby SF_Billy,I'm not sure about the timing question. If you have your phone locked, and have someone send you an Message or text message, does your watch notification happen where you can feel it? If you can't, maybe try power cycling both your watch and phone and then try again to see if that works.

Apr 24, 2015 12:57 PM in response to WeeRedby MichaelBischof,Having the same issue. The problem seems to be with imessage and mail. My WhatsApp notifications come through right away. iMessage takes for ever to notify me. When I check my iPhone I can see the message on the lockscreen but I did not get any notification. Unlocking the iPhone and opening the messages app sometimes pushes the notification to my watch. Strange...
Oh well, version 1.0. Waiting for a fix.

Apr 24, 2015 1:08 PM in response to SF_Billyby KVB71,★HelpfulWell, my phone has been beside me but off. I've gotten a few texts but no tap. I noticed I did have the red dot on the screen...so maybe I just didn't feel the tap? who knows. Do we think the phone has to not be on mute? I don't know. I know the settings say "mirror iPhone" and I keep my phone on mute when I am in the office. Oh well, I don't know. I will take it off mute and make my roommate text me tonight. haha We'll see if that does anything I guess.
