Q: PHOTOS with YOSEMITE

Apple Musictechnically, Photos should import your Standard Library when started. Other libraries can be also started/selected
The original iPhoto library remains intact - just in case you wanna go back

As a matter of fact, I agree that import should be generated by PHOTOS, but that did not happen at all when I started the program and there was no file to open. I finally found the answer under Mac Support at " GET STARTED WITH PHOTOS FOR OS X - Migrating more than one photo library "
