Apr 23, 2015 4:11 PM in response to kartik10042000by pmthomas3085,you don't have to look very far to determine that the whiz kids from Cupertino failed to solve the wifi issues. My iPad Air constantly drops the network and searches for a new connection constantly. Tried all the fixes suggested with no success. No way to roll back even with iDevice hacks as the Crapple folks no longer sign the release. So....until the Cupertino bunch fix the problem, there is a plethora of unhappy iDevice users. I guess the message is never be first to upgrade or the last. It looks like 8.3 broke as much as it fixed.

Apr 24, 2015 2:25 AM in response to pmthomas3085by kartik10042000,Well I think I did a great mistake by upgrading the iPad to iOS 8. This is because my iPad never faced such issue earlier like from iOS 6 to iOS 7. I'm facing such issue for the first time

Apr 24, 2015 3:00 AM in response to kartik10042000by pmthomas3085,Yeah.....I feel your pain. I got my wifi working for the evening last night, but I know that is short lived. Although I have an iMac, iPad, 2 iPhones, Mac Air (early model) and my daughter's hand-me-down MacBook Pro, my "go to" hardware is still PC-based. My wife, son/daughter all are Apple people so I end up being their systems analyst when something is wrong. I have the hardware because I need to demonstrate that the software produced by our company will run as either applets or under a virtual machine. I love the hardware even though it's over priced. I hate the operating system (both iDevices and laptop OS). From my experience, the WiFi has always been weak, whether OS X or as we've experienced, the iOS. I have to admit, my iMac is running Win 10 preview for that very reason. Soooo.....we sit and wait. The lousy WiFi at least doesn't prevent me from using the iPad as a great movie machine and a substitute for the Kindle as an eReader. I just wish there was a hack possible to allow reversion back to a stable OS.

Apr 25, 2015 1:12 AM in response to pmthomas3085by kartik10042000,Now I just gotta wait for the iOS 8.4 public release. Or else if the same issue prevails then this is gonna be my last apple product.

Apr 25, 2015 2:38 PM in response to kartik10042000by pmthomas3085,Sleek overpriced hardware, but highly rated when you read the reviews. Marginal operating systems and a history to support that. It always amazes me how the Apple fanboze and girlz turn a blind eye to stuff that is a massive screw-up. (this build of iOS fits in that category) and continue to rave about Apple. Having dealt with both companies since the 80's, I try to be a little more realistic and appreciate the good but avoid the bad.

Are you looking for assistance or did you post merely to rant?

Apr 26, 2015 4:36 AM in response to Philly_Phanby pmthomas3085,Sure.....glad to have assistance Philly_Phan. What do you suggest other than wait for the next iOS patch? I would venture to say I own and have owned, used and repaired more Apple hardware than you if you would like to get into slagging, so I would suggest that validates any comments positive or negative. Happy to hear your suggestions on how to solve the current issue....which continues despite following all the Cupertino suggested remedies. Or are you suggesting that free speech be stiffled? I would hope not given the Liberty Bell icon you have posted.

Apr 26, 2015 5:01 AM in response to pmthomas3085by kartik10042000,Is such issue there in almost every ipad in the world ? Coz this is really funny. I mean who would get a wifi issue aftet upgrading his device? That too the latest software upgrade. Coz Apple says to us to upgrade the device to the latest software available. And talking about hardware, I would just like to share my opinion that now people are being more concerned with features and Sharing options in a device than just hardware quality. Coz an apple device needs another Apple device to share files that couldn't be shared on social networking apps like WhatsApp. no doubt Apple is brilliant at hardware qualitY.

Apr 26, 2015 7:02 AM in response to pmthomas3085by Philly_Phan,So what's the answer to my question?
-
Apr 26, 2015 7:54 AM in response to Philly_Phanby pmthomas3085,I wouldn't have wandered to a support site if I wasn't looking for answers. To wit,"What do you suggest other than wait for the next iOS patch?" If you have a solution, I would be more than happy to hear it and would offer my thanks. If you're offended by a summary of the current state of play not being complimentary to Apple, then res ipsa loquitur.

Apr 26, 2015 8:03 AM in response to pmthomas3085by Philly_Phan,It's unfortunate but you made it clear that you're not interested in doing any work yourself to solve the problem.

Apr 26, 2015 8:31 AM in response to Philly_Phanby pmthomas3085,Oh, I've done the work (1 hr+ with Google and the various hits) and found there is no solution that really solves the problem on a permanent basis. I figured since you took the time to respond as an Apple Phan....you would have an answer. But it appears you are more interested in repartee than repair. As amusing as that might be, it doesn't solve the problem. So.....do you have a solution??

1 hour of research and you can say that there is no permanent solution?
