Q: Cannot share an album to Flickr

I just returned from a vacation and added some photos to the new Mac Photos app. I then added all of those photos to an album.

I found that when in the album view, clicking the share button only reveals the option 'iCloud Photo Sharing' or 'More'. Clicking on 'more' shows that 'Flickr' is already ticked, however it does not appear in Photos. So you cannot publish an album to Flickr.

If I go into 'Photos' view and zoom out to 'Collections', there is no 'share' button at all. If I zoom in one step to 'Moments', the share button appears and the option to share to Flickr is there, but my vacation is split across several moments, so it requires several manual share transactions to complete.

Has anybody found a more efficient way to upload an album to Flickr?

I having similar issues. May not help, just an observation, but oddly, I found that I can share 1 or 2 photos to a registered Flickr account, sometimes bigger groups, but trying to select, say a whole album, the Flickr sharing option disappears like you say. Frustrating. No where near as effective as iPhoto for Flickr sharing. Am I being cynical here in thinking Apple haven't exactly gone out of their way to make this work well to encourage you to share on iCloud drive? Surely not..

But not found a solution yet other than dragging pics onto the Flickr upload page.

Have the same problem.  I guess the only way to do it is to export the photos to a local drive and load them into Flickr?

Same story with me. less than 100 photos selected it offers the share link to flickr. But still does not really upload successfully. 3 or 4 photos works, but also in the wrong sequence of stored in photos. For it is a nightmare. Do not understand that there are so limited posts on that issue.

There was no warning before updating from iPhotos to photos. Before I trusted apple with handling of my photos. But now I feel the real power of apple what they can cause to the individual. Yesterday I loosed already many hours. Nobody cares for that.

Cannot believe this has not been fixed yet. Infuriating. Such a blatant example of Photos favoring Apple services like iCloud. This could easily serve as evidence in an antitrust lawsuit.

    Hello

The Flickr share of an album from within Photos works perfectly as long as there are no videos in the album. To upload videos you need to do it one by one.

    MacOS X 10.11.5, Photos 1.5

No, Larry, the problem still exists with the exact same symptoms - this is on a laptop I bought the day before yesterday.  Next time perhaps you should do your homework before being so condescending.

Ok - you need to do the same thing as it is not possible to help you with no information in a ThreadJacked Thread that is very old and seriously out of date

And I can not do homework on your comouter - you actually have to do it and provide details in a thread of your very own
