Q: My computer is not supporting my printer, "software currently unavailable, contact manufacturer", HP says its a Mac software download.
I have an iMac desktop, 27 inch, mid 2011, 3.4GHz Intel Core i7 with Mac OS X Lion, 10.7.5 which has suddenly stopped running my HP Photosmart C6250 printer. When I go to "Add printer" in "Preferences" I get a drop-down saying "The software for this printer is currently unavailable. Please contact the printer's manufacturer for the latest software". The HP download site, tells me that it is a download available from Apple and to run software update. I have run it, and I am up to date. Would this driver be in my hard drive somewhere?
Thanks for any info
