Apr 28, 2015 10:08 AM in response to Chris CAby Terrible,I'm after the 42mm Milanese, states 150-200mm wrists. Why bother to try a 200mm max band on a 238mm wrist, are they magic? Question is, are they going to offer one to fit 200-250mm wrists.

Apr 28, 2015 10:09 AM in response to Terribleby deggie,So today those links would be about $500.
I have a feeling as link bands become more plentiful you are going to see sales on Craigslist and eBay for links from iPhone bracelets.

Apr 28, 2015 10:12 AM in response to Terribleby deggie,Tell Apple you are interested: https://www.apple.com/feedback/watch.html
If there is a market for a larger one a 3rd party company will probably come out with one.

Apr 28, 2015 10:29 AM in response to deggieby Toons1263,I find it interesting that Apple seems not to care the least bit about the lost revenue or good will by not addressing this issue. What might the numbers be of Apple supporters that have been ignored by this decision? Will Apple allow others to use their trick new patented proprietary band snap-on attachment? I've heard that they will not allow the use of there patented products. I think that many of us that are in this situation do not wear a watch or need one but we want one because it is a cool Apple product but I'm about over it now and feel a bit let down by the people who have made these decisions.

Apr 28, 2015 10:35 AM in response to Toons1263by deggie,I suspect that you also would have this problem if you walked into a watch store and tried to buy any medium to high end watch, the bands would not be big enough. Use the feedback link I provided and add yourself to the list of people who would like a bigger band. The problem with this first issue is if they sold a 230mm milanese as the standard it would then be too big for a lot more people. They could even in the future offer band size as an option when ordering, you could suggest that.
As to losing revenue that would depend on the number of people who need the larger bands that are wanting to buy an Apple Watch and the cost to make such a limited number and have them available. It may actually cost them money to do so.

Apr 28, 2015 10:45 AM in response to Toons1263by PlayaDelRey,I posted this elsewhere, but not sure how to link (ha!) you too it.
I got my watch on Friday. A little over $700.00 bucks, even with a the skimpy band...................
I guess it is kind of a "man" thing. You learn to trust in life that certain dimensions of certain things always remain logical. I think the term is "true to fit," or something like that. If you buy, say, an XL shirt, you come to expect the tail to be certain length. When you buy a size 12 shoe, you expect it to fit. A .22 caliber Winchester, unless called a "youth" model, is always about the same size...and on and on. Sure there are always variables, but in general day to day things are almost always correct.
A man's watch is not just a piece of jewelry, but an important part of your wardrobe and a tool you learn to depend on, and NO watch, in the history of the world has ever been sold with a strap that is at least an inch too short. I don't care what the charts said.
The band is out of gauge.
APPLE BLEW IT.

Apr 28, 2015 10:48 AM in response to PlayaDelReyby deggie,So are you saying that you ordered the Sport Band and even though it states it is 200mm it wasn't 200mm?

Apr 28, 2015 10:54 AM in response to deggieby PlayaDelRey,I ordered the Classic Buckle. It fits. What is wrong is that the tongue is too short and should have been cut longer so that the loop holds it down.

Apr 28, 2015 12:32 PM in response to deggieby Toons1263,I'm just guessing here but I don't think that offering a full spectrum of band sizes is going to bust Apples treasury. They could even add an extra cost for our extra large wrests and make even more dinero than ever.

Apr 28, 2015 12:38 PM in response to Toons1263by PlayaDelRey,It was never a monetary issue for me. If they asked me to pay more, I would have.
Ever had a pair of jockey underwear that fit to small?
You get the picture.

Apr 28, 2015 12:46 PM in response to PlayaDelReyby Toons1263,That's exactly my point. Most of us would pay the price. We just want to be able to wear it the way it was designed to be worn. On the wrist (3X or 3sm).

To see if it fits...

Apple has not mentioned it.

Apr 29, 2015 5:34 PM in response to YZ600Rby Sandra Foster,LOL! I have the opposite situation (I don't consider size — large or small — to be a "problem"); my wrist is quite small. When I helped to fund the Click band adapters, I had no idea that nothing they were going to provide would be small enough to fit me. It's the way the cookie crumbles. We all have to make allowances here and there for things that don't fit, whether they're off-the-rack clothes, or watches or shoes or whatever. Don't get me wrong — I am sorry that some are having a problem with the size of the bands. But it's not a conspiracy, and we'll all live through it. JMHO.

Apr 29, 2015 6:28 PM in response to Sandra Fosterby Toons1263,With the hope that I am not offending some Apple Apologists that may be reading this, what if Tim Cook were 6'6"in. tall and 285 pounds. Do you think we would be having this discussion?
