Q: Mac Book Track Pad is acting erratic. Cursor is jumping all over the screen.

My work MacBook Pro has glitched today. Screen sizes started changing, screen flashing, then safety mode. Now cursor is jumping all over the screen and the track pad is at times touchy or others unresponsive. Really tired of this POS computer.

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)

Try the steps in this Apple support article:

Some times a very thorough cleaning of the trackpad will restore functionality.

Open up the MBP and inspect the battery to see if it has expanded. If so, it may be interfering with the trackpad and should be replaced immediately.
