May 1, 2015 8:15 AM in response to airmeliby léonie,Where is the Photos library that you cannot open? Is in in your Pictures folder or also on an external drive? if it is on an external drive, how are you connected to that drive? And are you using include Photo Library?
Since you have a back copy of your Photos library on an external drive, copy this library to your Pictures folder (if there is enough space) and double-click it to open.
Is that restored copy readable?

When I open the Photo App. It keep having the loading round bar but in the end, it doesn't load. Then it will go to the repair mode. But it cannot seem to repair.
My Photo Library folder is on the external drive. I connect via USB.
Due to the size of my photo folder, I have set the photo library folder to my external hard disc so I do not have my photo library in my Mac.

How is this drive formatted? Is the filesystem MacOS Extended (Journaled) as recommended?
There may be permissions problems with the drive. Is the "Ignore Ownership on this volume" flag set for this drive?
If not, set the flag as described here for iPhoto: iPhoto: Sharing libraries among multiple users - Apple Support
