It sounds like you are wanting to purchase a pay per view event either via HBO or Showtime but are having difficulty without a subscription. You may need to reach out to the support for either of them to see if that is possible:
Contact Apple TV content providers
- Available in the United States
- Subscription with participating cable or satellite provider required
- Contact billing, account, or technical support

Apr 27, 2015 6:25 PM in response to sterling rby DrJTJ,I just spoke to an HBO Now representative. I was told that Pay Per View shows like the coming Mayweather Pacquiao bout are not supported on HBO Now. He does not believe that HBO Go is also supported for PPV events.

May 1, 2015 11:34 AM in response to sterling rby zkaudio,This is a weak answer. Most of us have valid subscriptions and are willing to pay for the fight. Are you saying there is NO way to pay to see the Pacquiou fight on Apple TV? You're losing out on one **** of a revenue stream if not.

This really has nothing to do with Apple - their partners offering subscriptions for sports events are the ones who could offer such features if they and the fight promoters agreed to do so.
I need to check if Sky in the UK are going to offer this as a one off purchase but I doubt it.

May 1, 2015 12:45 PM in response to Alley_Catby DrJTJ,HBO does not currently support any PPV (not just the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight) on either HBO Now or HBO Go. That's what I was told.

May 1, 2015 3:14 PM in response to sterling rby arlemiche,I have purchased UFC Pay-Per-View fights via their app on Apple TV and it is AWESOME and convenient. HBO NOW and Showtime should consider offering this. I have been looking for answers for weeks regarding this fight and I'm about to give up!
