Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
I see where you are not receiving haptic notifications on your Apple Watch. The following article provides information regarding adjusting the intensity of the haptic alerts.
Adjust the intensity of haptic alerts on your Apple Watch - Apple Support
Additionally, if you are actively using your iPhone at the time, the notifications will go to the iPhone and not the Apple Watch.

I am also having the same issue as Joshua. I maxed up the haptics on my iphone/watch and it still is not working. I have added my friend in my favorites and all, still no fix.

May 4, 2015 4:33 AM in response to Roub99by joshuawfrancis,Hey Roub99 and Raf . I have found out what is going on. It has to do with the iMessage settings on your phone. You need to change your iMessage setting on you phone to start new conversations from the email address that you use to for you apple ID not your iCloud account.
To do this:
1. go to settings on your phone
2. go to messages
3. go to send and receive
4. change the start new conversation to you apple ID.
You will also need to make sure that anyone that you would like to use the haptic messages with has their setting the same. If you use the iCloud email address it won't work.
Hope this helps out guys
